johnny f! Productions started almost 10 years ago in the year 1996. A young boy named John Foderick went to his 7th grade middle school dance and met a disk jockey simply named DJ Mike.
From this point forward, all he thought about was being a DJ. He booked shows for himself, rented the equipment at a local music store, and put on shows that rivaled most full time professional DJs. It wasn't being the center of attention that drew him so deep into the Disk Jockey lifestyle though... It was getting to work first hand with all professional sound and lighting equipment that was involved.
By his 8th grade year he was working long hours at the local 500 seat community theater as a light and sound tech. With all the time he put in he started to earn some money. One day he decided to buy a cheap home stereo system, create some sweet home-made lights, and take on his shows with his own equipment.
It was a cheap system from this shack that carried radios. It was nothing but a big waste of money. John realized at that point in time what every performer eventually realizes... QUALITY MATTERS. The new system was a flop so he went back to renting a system. Show bookings went back up and so did his income. He started to save some more money and life was good again.
He knew that if he got a system even better then the one he was renting, he could own the town and make a living off of this. So, with his savings and some much needed help from mom and dad, he purchased his first professional audio and lighting system.
By 9th grade John became the technical director of his community's theater. He loved working with the building's sound system but he specialized in light direction. While most kids drew pictures of cars or guitars all day, John spent his daydreaming time doodling light plots in his note book.
By the time he graduated, John had worked closely with everyone from Tonic Sol Fa to the Children's Theater of Minnesota. He spent his school nights working in clubs and his summers touring around with other production companies and lots of amazing bands. His youth, creativeness, and musical knowledge put him in front others twice his age. He kept up with the action on stage and was always one step ahead of the performers
Today, John heads up a small crew of talented men and women with one goal in mind: To Simply Be The Best
